INTRODUCTION
Anaara Media was founded in 2002 with the sole purpose of creating engaging and interactive business solutions using latest and emerging development environments and platform agnostic technologies. With Adobe Flex, Anaara continues to fulfill this purpose while forging alliances and partnerships with its customers and clients including Fortune-50, Fortune-100 and major corporations nationwide.

Anaara Media currently maintains multiple development facilities also recognized as Anaara Labs, the primary facility located in Silver Spring, Maryland with easy access to the I-95 corridor, I-270 technology parks, as well as Northern Virginia technology hubs.

Anaara Media has a history of working closely with Adobe in upcoming and emerging technologies; including Live Motion (in the past), Dreamweaver, and Flex. We have been implementing Flex in our RIA solutions since its first alpha release. Our Team consists of Adobe certified professionals and a number of our developers are in the process of getting Adobe Flex certified as well.

At Anaara we have taken the notion of telecommuting to a new level by creating localized development labs central to our team members and at easy commuting distance to avoid the stress of traffic and time wastage.

Anaara Media has been working with clients nationwide and is adept at maintaining and managing a virtual work environment while remaining in touch with the client. In support of our existing projects, we have currently leveraged Adobe Acrobat Connect to manage and collaborate on on-going projects. Thanks to our fiber optic based dedicated bandwidth we regularly utilize, video conferencing, two-way screen sharing, chat, file share, and whiteboard applications, as part of our daily operational functions in fulfilling our deliverables.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT APPROACH
While initiating any project either with existing client or a new customer, Anaara always conducts a face-to-face project kick-off meeting to establish preliminary boundaries, goals and expectations prior to detailed requirement gathering activity takes place. Upon project initiation, Anaara dispatches its representatives including Program Manager, Sr. Architect, and Sr. Software Development Manager to meet with the client and establish a direct line of communication. In our experience, a direct line of communication and an open chain of command ensures client satisfaction, and enables Anaara to win client confidence which is paramount in achieving deliverables and meeting project timeline.

Additionally, Anaara also plays a consulting partner role in the project and assists in defining, highlighting, evaluating and sanitizing the project requirement to assure the deliverables conform to the expected outputs. This approach has afforded us valuable relationships with our customers and we look forward to working with all our clients in this capacity as well.

Project: Flight Information Display System (FIDS)
Impact: Deployed nationwide and across the globe, including:

Anaara helped ARINC to develop the flight information display systems that have replaced traditional flight information monitors on major airports nationwide and in many major overseas airports.
FIDS dynamically creates the presentation layer embedded on a Flash application tier and XML data streams from Windows servers. This system is featured in, “New Masters of Flash: Volume 3 (Brendan Dawes, et al)”, a popular book showcasing Flash design.

Project: Voxant Media Player
Impact: http://www.voxant.com – Developed by Anaara Media team
Anaara helped Voxant develop a Flash based media player which efficiently managed and executed all media formats including Flash Video even on restrained bandwidth environments as well as over broadband networks. Voxant was able to demo the prototype and secure $10.5 Million in first round funding to develop and market the media player solution.

Project: Pronto! – Business Productivity Package
Impact: Presented by Adobe at MAX 2006, MAX 2007 Conferences
Anaara leveraged Flex, ActionScript, and Flash Player to develop an efficient and versatile business productivity application for Communigate Pro (www.communigate.com) the world’s most robust email system. Pronto! provided a versatile and fully functional rich email client, as well as popular business productivity features including instant messaging, voicemail, video, whiteboard, and document management functions in a small footprint, Web2.0 RIA package. Adobe has since displayed Pronto! as one of the star Flex applications during the past two Adobe MAX Conferences.

Project: HP Print Studio

Anaara recently completed the first phase of HP’s $300 million Print 2.0 online venture, now live at http://www.hp.com/printstudio. The Anaara Media team furnished the project architecture and played a technical lead role on the project through the completion and implementation of the first phase.

Project: T-Mobile Management Dashboard
Impact: T-Mobile Corporation – Proprietary business application
Anaara is developed an RIA dashboard application for T-Mobile to manage and forecast data relating to the loads on its network nodes over time.

Anaara worked in Tandem with Mercedes and Farata Systems on the next generation U.S. website for Mercedes Benz using latest middleware technologies and Adobe Flex environment with Cairngorm development framework.

Project: Carey International
Impact: Limousine Dispatch Service Application migration to Flex RIA environment
Anaara migrated a highly complex and interdependent SOA application architecture to Web 2.0 rich internet application standards using the Adobe Flex 2 development environment. The migration included porting from Flex 1.5 to Flex 2.0 as updating and configuring Flex Data Services (Adobe Live Cycle).

Project: Jockey Club
Impact: Corporate applications migration to Flex RIA environment
Every thoroughbred horse born or entering the U.S gets registered with The Jockey Club (TJC). TJC deals with all sorts of data entry, management, and searching issues from blood serum testing to notation of markings on the animals. They traditionally had done this via several legacy VB applications, some of which they had begun to migrate to Flex 1.5. Anaara Media was brought in for consultation on the implementation of the Cairngorm framework, to port the existing Flex 1.5 codebase to Flex 2.0 and to create new RIA equivalents of the remaining legacy VB applications.

Project: Air Missile Defense Artillery School / Northrop Grumman
Impact: SCORM compliant, Section-508 – CBT/e-Learning System
Anaara developed a SCORM compliant and section-508 accessible e-learning system using OOP, FLASH and ActionScript for a Northrop Grumman project: “Contemporary Operational Environment (COE) from an AMD Perspective”. The e-learning system was deployed as a Computer Based Training (CBT) system and is currently in use by the U.S. Army.

Impact: SCORM compliant, Section-508 – CBT/e-Learning System
Anaara developed a SCORM compliant and section-508 accessible e-learning system for Metal Worker drafting school.
